Det er tid til en ny 40 dages morgen Kundalini Kriya.  

 “Kriya for Detoxification”! 

Det er december og julen står for døren, så du tænker sikkert….”Skulle man ikke vente til januar med en udrensningskriya?….  Julen er trods alt en fest, og hvordan kan man overhovedet foretage en udrensning af kroppen i denne tid, hvor det ene sukker, fedt og alkohol chok, afløses af det næste?”

Jamen, så er det da netop, at vi skal tænke på at få disse toxiner så hurtigt ud af kroppen som muligt. Det behøver ikke betyde skrappe citronkure på kogt vand, og timer på toilettet, mens resten af familien nyder julemiddagen i stuen ved siden af!

En halv times daglig dosis Kundalini yoga, er nok til at hjælpe dig igennem adskillige julefrokoster og julemiddage, uden røde øjne, oppusted mave og omtågethed – både mentalt og fysisk….. og hvis du elsker Kundalini yoga…. så er det bare en ekstra julegave, fyldt med nydelse og glæde.

Du kan vælge at supplere med en ekstra kriya – her i Studio Flow har vi tilknyttet “Balance the heart and head”.

I traditionel kinesisk medicin, ses hjertet som forbindelsen til sindet/hjernen – en slags bro mellem de to. På fuldstændig samme måde, som vi kender i Chakra læren. Hjertet er kroppens 4. chakra – forbindelsen mellem det bevidste og det ubevidste.

Hjertemeridianen er knyttet til tyndtarmen, som er en vigtig del af vores fordøjelsessystem. Det er her føden nedbrydes til næringsstoffer. En god makker til din Kriya for Detoxification.

It´s time for a new 40 days Kundalini morning Kriya

 “Kriya for Detoxification”!

You’re probably thinking: “Why not wait until January?  The holiday season is a joyous time of celebration.” That is so true, but with it comes a dietary overload of sugar, alcohol and fat, a little detoxification won´t hurt you. It does´nt mean, that you need to start a lemon and hot water fast, and spend hours on the toilet, while the rest of the family is celebrating next door. Half an hour of Kundalini yoga every day, does the trick. It will help you get through dozens of Christmas dinners without waking up the next morning with red eyes, bloated aftermath and foggy brain both psychically and mentally….. And if you love your Kundalini praxis, well…. then it´s just an extra Christmas gift, filled with joy and happiness.

You can add an extra kriya to your daily praxis. Here in Studio Flow we have chosen “Balance the heart and head”. 

In traditional Chinese medicine, the heart is seen as the connection between the mind and the body, forming a bridge between the two. Just the same as in the chakra teachings… The heart is 4. middle chakra – the bridge between the unconscious and the conscious mind.

The heart meridian is connected to the small intestine, which is a part of the digestive system, that breaks down the food you eat. A very good kriya that will support your detoxification.

Kriya for Detoxification

We detoxify continuously throughout life. We process food, thoughts, and all forms of energy. When that flow is continuous and clear, we are steady and flexible. The trouble is that we accumulate more than we process. We become weighted down under the ash of metabolism and the remnants of old emotions. This set systematically moves the energy of the body and mind to keep you light and vitalized.

1. Lie down on your back with your legs straight. Your heels are together and your toes point upward. Keeping your heels together, spread your feet apart so that they both point out to the sides. The right foot points to the right and the left foot points to the left. Then close your feet so they once again point straight upward. Continue quickly opening and closing your feet, keeping your heels together. Continue for 4 minutes.

kundalini-yoga-detox 12. Remain on your back and put your hands under your head. Raise your legs up about two feet and scissor the legs up and down without letting the descending heel touch the ground. Keep your legs straight, do not bend at the knees. This exercise clears up inner anger when done vigorously. Continue for 4 minutes.

3. Lie down on your stomach and stick out your tongue. Exhale through your mouth and push up into Cobra Pose. Inhale through your mouth as you lower yourself back to the ground. Continue, keeping your breath and movement strong. This exercise removes toxins from the body. Continue for 6 1/2 minutes.

4. Turn over on to your back and bring your knees up to your chest. As the knees touch the chest, raise your arms up to 90 degrees (parallel to each other). Straighten your legs and lower your arms and legs back to the floor at the same time. Continue this movement vigorously for 3 minutes. This is a controlled movement. There should be no noise when the arms and legs touch the ground.

5. Sit in Easy Pose and revolve the torso around the base of the spine. This churning movement is done in a counter-clockwise direction. Continue for 3 minutes. Move as quickly as you can during the last minute.

6. Stand up. Bend over and grab your ankles. While holding onto your ankles, sit down in Crow Pose and come back up. Continue this movement for 2 minutes.

7. Sit comfortably in Easy Pose with your spine straight. Chant Sat Nam, Sat Nam, Sat Nam, Sat Nam, Sat Nam, Sat Nam, Wahe Guru. One full repetition of the mantra takes 7-8 seconds. Continue for 11 minutes.

To finish: Inhale deeply and stretch your arms over your head with your palms touching. Hold your breath 20-40 seconds as you stretch your spine upward. Exhale. Repeat this sequence two more times.

Når vi begynder at behandle vores krop med respekt, vil kroppen langsomt, men sikkert genopbygge og gendanne den fine balance der giver os overskud, udstråling og livskvalitet.

At tage sig af egen sundhed er et udtryk for egenomsorg, men også i høj grad kærlighed til din omverden. Når du tager dig godt af dig selv, så har du meget mere tid, overskud og glæde til dem du holder af.

En af vejene til et optimalt helbred er balancering af de endokrine kirtler i kroppen.

I Kundalini yoga taler vi om “Helbredets vogtere eller Sundhedens vogtere”

Kundalini Yoga arbejder direkte ind på de endokrine kirtler – langt mere præcist end alle andre former for yoga!

De endokrine kirtler:

Pineal kirtlen (søvnhormon), Hypofysen (overordnet hormonproduktion), bugspytkirtlen (fordøjelse), binyrer (adrenalin, kortisol), skjoldbruskkirtlen (stofskifte), æggestokke ( kvindeligt kønshormon), testikler (mandligt kønshormon), Thymus (immunforsvaret)

Når de endokrine kirtler i kroppen er i balance, er vi på toppen – fuldstændig som en Formel 1 racer. Når den kører i pitten, bliver alle små dyser, ventiler, pumper finjusteret, så bilen kan yde det optimale. Det samme gælder for kroppen. Hvis vi skal yde det optimale, må vi også finjusteres. Man hælder jo ikke oktan 92 på en Formel 1 racer og forventer, den skal yde max. Så hvorfor proppe os med dårlig mad og sukkerholdige, koffeinmættede drikke.

Vi kan begynde at være mere opmærksomme på, hvor mange faktorer i vores moderne hverdag, der kan forrykke den fine balance som kroppen naturligt har.

Effekten af stress i kroppen har enorm indflydelse på din sundhedstilstand både fysisk og mentalt. For tidlig ældning, lavt energiniveau, udmattelse, depression, søvnløshed, indtag af uhensigtmæssig mad og drikke. En tilstand af overstimulation af både det sympatiske nervesystem og de indre organer.

Miljøgifte i mad, beklædning, kropsprodukter og luftforurening er ligeledes med til at forrykke balancen. Det er faktorer som vi har svært ved fuldstændig at holde udenfor vores liv, men vi kan foretage et bevidst valg i vores indkøb, og opbygge et stærkt immumforsvar gennem yoga og sund livsstil. Det behøver ikke koste en formue…. måske vi blot kan vælge noget fra, istedet for hele tiden at lægge nyt til.

Alder er en helt naturlig faktor der ligeledes kan påvirke vores endokrine kirtler. Her betyder kost, yoga og livsstil på samme måde som med alt andet, enormt meget for den måde du ældes. Det handler ikke kun om rynker, men også om nysgerrighed, livsmod og en hjerne der stadig har lyst til at lære nyt og være skarp.

1 . Sit in easy pose. Keeping the arms close to your sides, bend the elbows so that the hands and forearms are pointing straight up and the palms are facing each other. Strongly push one arm out and up at a 60 degree angle while the other arm remains bent, becomes hard like steel, and creates a solid balance for the extended arm. Then push out the bent arm while the extended arm returns to the balancing position close in to the side of the body. The arm is pushed out from the armpit, which is stretched in this motion. This is a very vigorous and demanding exercise. You will work hard to do it correctly. You are channelizing the energy of the ida and pingala. 10 Minutes.
2. Extend both arms up and out, creating a “V” between your arms. Keep the elbows straight and criss-cross your arms in front of your face.
Move very quickly with Breath of Fire. 1 1/2 Minutes.

3. Extend both arms out in front of you with the palms facing up. Moving both arms together, move as if you were splashing water up and over your head. Breathe powerfully through your mouth. 2 1/2 Minutes.
4. Lie down on your back and lift both legs up over your head into plow pose. Return your legs to the floor and continue leg lifts into plow pose. 2 Minutes.

5. Lie down straight and put your hands under your neck. Spread your heels about one foot apart. Begin jumping the body from the hips, moving from the center of the body. Don’t bend the knees, but move from thighs to rib cage. Move vigorously. 3 1/2 Minutes.

6. Still lying on your back, lift your legs up, and grab your toes, keeping your knees straight. Open your mouth and breathe through your throat. 1 Minute.

7. Come into baby pose with your forehead on the ground and your hands behind you. Go to sleep listening to ”Naad” by Sangeet Kaur. After 11 minutes rise up, cross your palms over your heart center and sing along with the tape for 5 more minutes. Yogi Bhajan played the gong during this meditation.

COMMENTS: I feel if the body is made to be very strong, really strong, it can fight of anything. ( YB october 30″1985)

Det er farligere at lade være!

Forleden dag trak en af mine skønne Kundalini yoga deltagere mig lidt til side efter timen og sagde: “En bekendt advarede mig mod at gå til Kundalini yoga, da hun havde hørt at det vistnok var farligt”…..!

Det er et spørgsmål som jeg er sikker på, at alle Kundalini yogalærere er blevet konfronteret med – og til det er der kun at sige…. Det er farligere IKKE at dyrke Kundalini yoga!!!!

Det ville være så ærgerligt, hvis denne kvinde, som iøvrigt elsker sine Kundalini yogatimer, stoppede sin praksis på grund af misforståelser og misinformation.

Jeg har efterhånden talt med mange Kundalini yogalærere rundt om i verden, og ingen af dem har nogensinde stødt på det, som min deltager desværre er blevet advaret imod. Tværimod har de alle historier at fortælle, om folks store taknemmelighed overfor Kundalini yogaen, der har givet dem et energifyldt liv med større overskud.

Mange mennesker i den vestlige verden – ja, op til 90% viser statistikkerne, lider af stress, allergi, stofskifteproblemer og en krop der er forurenet af tungmetaller, alkohol og/eller ubalanceret kost, og her hjælper kun MERE Kundalini Yoga.

Det som de fleste mennesker oplever er MANGEL på Kundalini.

Man skal huske at skelne mellem sanskrit ordet Kundalii (oversat: Kundalini) og Kundalini Yoga.

Ordet Kundalini kan defineres som naturens basis energi, en urkraft – en universel arketype der hjælper til med at udvikle og styrke sindet.

Kundalini Yoga er en fysisk og mental praksis der bygger på denne kraft. Den styrker immumforsvaret, virker direkte på nervesystemet og de endokrine kirtler, som er hemmeligheden bag en balanceret og sund krop. Er de endokrine kirtler i ubalance, virker det på samme måde som hvis du bestiller en dobbelt shot expresso, og kaffemaskinen er ukorrekt indstillet – så får du IKKE en dobbeltshot expresso, men måske kun en tynd kop vandig kaffe, som ikke smager af noget.

Enhver Kriya – ordet for et Kundalini sæt, som kan være alt fra styrkelse af ryg, til forbedring af din nattesøvn, er opbygget således, at ingen genererer mere energi end de kan klare. Her er det også vigtigt du kommer til en uddannet underviser som følger de tusinde år gamle forskrifter, der er gennemprøvede og unikke.

En franskbrødskniv er fremstillet til at skære brød, men kan udgøre en fare i de forkerte hænder. Sådan er det med alt her i livet – brug din intuition, din mavefornemmelse! Og intet styrker de to elementer mere end Kundalini Yoga. Det kan jeg ihvertfald skrive under på….!

De næste uger vil jeg her på bloggen, beskrive Kundalini yogaens fortræffeligheder – lige fra en smuk hud til løberens forbedrede resultater.

Prana er den livskraft og bevidsthed vi får gennem vores åndedræt og den mad vi vælger at spise.

Apana er den udrensende energi, der er knyttet til de nederste chakra.

Det er kun 1 time siden jeg afsluttede mit torsdagshold hvor vi arbejdede med ugens kriya “Apana Kriya (Elimination Exercises). Den må åbenbart have aktiveret noget helt specielt i mine deltagere, fordi de stod i kø for at få Kriyaen med hjem. I stedet for at tage en masse kopier, vælger jeg at lægge den ud her, så andre måske også kan have glæde af den.

Apana Kriya (Elimination Exercises)

Vatskar Kriya: Sit in Easy Pose with hands on the knees. Make a beak of the mouth and drink as much air as you can into the stomach using short, continuous sips, as if you were swallowing. Pull in and hold. Roll the stomach to the left, when the breath has been held in for half its maximum time, reverse the direction to the right. Continue rolling the stomach as long as possible with Neck Lock applied. When the breath can be held in no longer, straighten the spine and exhale slowly (not powerfully) through the nose. Repeat the complete exercise 2 times. Note: Always do this on an empty stomach and not more than twice per day.

Baby Pose: Sit on the heels and touch the forehead to the ground. Place the hands palm up by the hips. Imagine that there is a big, 100-pound tail coming off the end of the spine and wag it as if trying to make it break the wall. Move the hips left and right–a few inches–as if the tailbone traces out a “U”; this will churn the navel and the lower abdomen as you move. Continue for 3 minutes followed by 5 minutes of rest.

Lie down on the back. Press the toes forward. Lift the legs three feet. Start Long Deep Breathing. Continue for 2or 3 minutes. Inhale—hold briefly and relax.

Lie down on the back, bring the legs overhead and catch the toes. Roll back and forth from the base of the spine to the neck. Hold onto the toes and keep rocking for 3 minutes

Alternate Nostril Breath: Sit up immediately in Easy Pose. As calmly as possible, bring the right thumb to the right nostril to close it off. Inhale through the left nostril, using the little finger, close off the left nostril and exhale through the right. Continue for 3 minutes, then inhale and feel the energy radiate throughout the body, giving health and life.

Sit in Easy Pose. Place the Venus Lock a few inches in front of the chest at the Heart Center with the palms facing the chest. Inhale and turn the head to the left; exhale and turn the head to the right. Continue for 3minutes.

Sit in Easy Pose. Stretch the arms out to the sides, parallel to the ground. Swing the arms back in a rolling motion as if swimming. Continue for 1 minute.

To end: Inhale and hold the breath as you bend the elbows, bringing the fingertips onto the shoulders. This magnetizes the electric current. While the breath is held, the energy starts circulating. Exhale— let the energy flow to all parts of the body and feel refreshed.

Comments: This is a good example of a simple but powerful series that was kept secret by those few yogis who learned it. This will allow you to completely master your digestive system and give a youthful appearance to your skin. Aging does not start just with years; it begins with nutritional deficiency, intestinal problems, untended emotional and physical stress and an inflexible spine that disrupts the flow of meridians as well as the rejuvenating flow of your spinal fluid. Exercise 1 adjusts the acid–alkaline balance in the stomach, but it must be done regularly without missing a single day. Exercise 2 strengthens the heart; Exercise 3 slims the waistline and cleans the gallbladder; Exercise 4 flushes the circulation and balances the nerves. Exercises 5 and 6 distribute the pranic force and stimulate the thyroid and parathyroid. Exercise 7 strengthens the psycho-magnetic field of the aura.
